Hi residents, here are details on what’s coming up for the month of September:
Veterans Breakfast
Get together with fellow Veterans in Crawford Farms for breakfast on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. This month it will be on the 7th and 21st. This is such an awesome opportunity for Veterans of the community to get to know each other and trade stories. This group is always looking for others to join, so if you are interested, then contact Jim Kiely at jmkiely@verizon.net for more details on time and location of each breakfast.
Recess at the Park
Join us with your little ones on Thursday, September 14th from 10am-11am at the park. We’re going to be making slime!
Mom Son Rockfest
Friday, September 22nd 6pm-8pm will be the Mom Son Rockfest! The dads get a special event with their daughters, so why not give the moms and sons their very own night to remember? This Rock and Roll themed event will have dancing, contests with prizes, airbrush tattoos (maybe mom and son matching tattoos?), a photo booth to capture the memories, and of course refreshments. The event is located at the Keller Roundhouse off Keller Main Street.
As you can imagine, it takes a lot to put together an event such as this, and I can use all the help I can get. If you are able to donate sweet treats, snack mixes, fruit plates, or drinks, then that would be very helpful. I could also use help with set up and tear down, so let me know if you will be available on this day to help out!
Board Meeting
Thursday, September 28th at 7pm - You are invited to come to the board meeting held at the office in Alliance Town Center. This is a great opportunity for the board to address any questions, concerns or input you may have about your community. The address is 9800 Hillwood Parkway, Suite 210 Ft. Worth, TX 76177.
Community Garage Sale
Crawford Farms will be having their Fall Community Garage Sale the weekend of September 29th (Friday and Saturday). If you want to hold your own sale, then you need to get a permit from the city of Fort Worth at least 72 hours before the sale. You can do this through http://fortworthtexas.gov/planninganddevelopment/permits/garage-sales/ or call 817-392-2222.
