Crawford Farms Daddy/Daughter Dance

“How sweet it is!”

Help us celebrate a night of memories captured forever during this special event shared between Dads and their Daughters!

Friday – February 17th – 7:00-8:30
To be held at Keller Pointe

Those wishing to attend MUST RSVP to Michele at social@crawfordfarmshoa.com as each guest will be receiving a gift.
Sponsored with Calvary Life Church

We are asking for an admittance donation of $10 per family – with all proceeds going to Turning Point DFW, Substance Abuse and Awareness Program.

Delicious Punch and a Beautiful Dessert Table with Cakes, Candies and Goodies to enjoy. Each young Lady and each Father will receive a gift and there will be door prizes given away throughout the evening.

There will be a Ballroom Dancing Demonstration, and a few games, dances and competitions. It does not have to be Father and Daughter, it can be Grand Father and Daughter or Uncle or any significant person in the girls life that would like to escort her to the Dance.

This is a great bonding experience and a way to show that special young lady how she is supposed to be treated. Please join us for some fun and don’t forget you must RSVP so that we can have plenty of gifts on hand.

We are looking for donations for door prizes and our Dessert table, please contact Michele if you can help out. We are also looking for a photographer to donate their time.

Crawford Farms Sports Courts Announcement

As most of you are aware, we have been having substantial problems with trespassers, vandalism, and disturbances at the Sports Courts.  We are in the process of making the following repairs and changes:

  • The courts will now close at 9:00 PM sharp
  • The exit button has been removed and now it is a card in/ card out access system so you will need your card to exit the courts as well as enter
  • The exit device will automatically disable at 9:15 and anyone still in the courts after lights out will not be able to open the gate
  • The timer for the court lights has been removed and the lights will be on from 6pm to 9pm and will shut off automatically at 9:00 pm
  • The chain link entry gate has been replaced with a custom built iron gate that cannot be kicked in or bent
  • An additional magnetic lock has been added to the gate so now there will be two locks to increase the strength
  • The Pool Ambassador who monitors the pool during the summer will also be monitoring the courts when on duty and will personally clear the courts at 9:00pm every night they are on duty

We also just had to put back up several of the side fences that blew over in the last wind storm and are in the process of repairing the tennis net and replacing the torn wind screen.  We have also ordered new signs reflecting these rules that should be going up in the next few days.
We hope that all of these extra measures will help with the troubles we have been having in this area.  We urge you all to report any trespassing, vandalism, or disturbances to both the police and your Association Manager whenever you see it.  If you are a parent who's children use these courts, please make them aware of these new changes as well remind them that bikes and skateboards are not allowed inside the court gates.

Thank you for all your help and participation and we welcome any feedback or additional suggestions on how we can increase the community enjoyment of these facilities.

Warmest Regards,

Meka Bowling
Senior Association Manager
